Is semi-permanent makeup safe?
Yes. All SPMU treatments at Shookra are performed by trained specialists using high-quality pigments, sterile tools, and strict hygiene protocols to ensure safety and comfort.
How long does semi-permanent makeup last?
Results typically last 12–24 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and the specific treatment. Touch-ups are recommended to maintain colour and definition over time.
Will the results look natural?
Absolutely. Our approach focuses on soft, natural enhancement, carefully designed to suit your facial features, skin tone, and personal style—never harsh or overdone.
Is the treatment painful?
Discomfort is minimal. A topical numbing agent is applied before treatment to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure.
What is the downtime after SPMU?
There is little to no downtime. Mild redness, sensitivity, or swelling may occur for a few days. Brows or lips will appear darker initially and soften as they heal.
How long does healing take?
Initial healing takes about 7–10 days, with full colour settling over 4–6 weeks. Aftercare instructions will be provided to support optimal healing.
Is a touch-up required?
Yes. A follow-up session is usually recommended 4–8 weeks after the initial treatment to refine shape, colour, and symmetry.
