What is the downtime?
Downtime is minimal. You may experience light swelling or tenderness for 24–48 hours. Peeling and soft fading occur during the first 5–10 days (especially for lips and brows). A touch-up session is recommended after 4–6 weeks for best results.
Is SPMU safe?
Yes. Shookra uses FDA-approved, organic pigments sourced from the USA and Europe. They are hypoallergenic, toxin-free, and designed to fade naturally without discoloration over time.
Can I wear makeup after my SPMU treatment?
We recommend avoiding makeup on the treated area for 7–10 days post-procedure to allow proper healing. You can apply makeup elsewhere on the face with clean tools.
Can I choose the colour and shape?
Yes. Colours and designs are customised to match your skin tone, features, and preferences. Nothing is finalised without your approval.
Can I do SPMU while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. We do not perform SPMU on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to hormonal fluctuations and pigment retention variability. You're welcome to consult us and book your treatment after this period.
